1.0 Introduction

Between Chaos and Triumph is the third in a series of papers I am writing on the subject of humans becoming a multi-planet species. The first was;

Modification of the human condition (In Service to Interplanetary Flight and Colonization and Acclimation of the Human Species to Interplanetary Travel and Colonization), and the second was

 Interplanetary Colonial Governance and Sovereignty – (Argument for Martian Planetary Independence from Earth and Argument for the Creation of a Nation State of Mars on Earth)

 When we talk about interplanetary flight and building colonies on the moon or other planets in our solar system such as Mars, we usually talk about the technology or the habitats we would build. Not so much thought seems to be given to the how, of building a new society elsewhere.

  “Between Chaos and Triumph” describes the how.

 Before discussing the plan further, it is important to see how we have come to this period in our history and the challenges our species is yet to face in the near future. This “backgrounder” will help you to better understand the plan.
