* The Primates Oration *

Pericles Funeral Oration on 50 Drachmai 1955 Banknote from Greece.
Famous speech given at the end of the first year of the
Peloponnesian War (431-404 BC).

I have previously written in this blog about how developing and building an interplanetary colonial society could affect civilization on Earth and also possibly our method of time keeping. One aspect of that which was not entered into at the time was how our linguistics might change. This series of posts addresses that issue.

Language evolves as we migrate from place to place with the evidence of this being accepted in most scientific circles and an interesting correlation has also been drawn between language and mitochondrial DNA patterns during such migrations across the globe.

In response to a conversation I had a few years ago with someone very religious and a book they asked me to read, I wrote a short blog that was written as a discourse on our African genesis, our beliefs in Gods and the application of our intellect to life’s eternal questions and struggles.

I mention this because during the research for that blog I came across some interesting studies that would possibly also apply to interplanetary / lunar colonization.

Let's begin:
