Elon Musk has stated he wants to go to Mars. Everything he is doing is pointing in that direction. The question is not if, but when.

If you are interested in any interplanetary or Lunar colonization efforts I would recommend that as a start, you read the documents posted to the Open Lunar Foundation website. Many of their documents have some similarities to what I have previously written in this blog.

The one thing for certain is that if we don't get this right the first time, our history will repeat it self in outer space.
